Export File Format

The file we provide is a Comma-Separated-Values file, or CSV. You can read it in Excel or Google Sheets or other spreadsheet processing program.

The name of the file depends on whether it is a list of township, precinct, or district voters.

Precincts are named Precinct_<precintname>.csv
Townships are named Township_<townshipname>.csv

District files are named District_<districtID>.csv
The District ID is an internal number, listed in the row in the Districts List. Look up the number to learn the district name.

Each row in the file represents an individual voter.

For each voter there are many columns. Here is how to interpret them:

  1. Voter ID - an internal voter number, for reference
  2. LastName - voter's last name
  3. FirstName - voter's first name
  4. MiddleName - voter's middle name or initial
  5. Suffix - Jr, Sr, III, IV, etc. if applicable
